Now an exciting scientific discovery in the High Arctic of Canada has given 24 to 20 million years the fossil skeleton of an unknown mammal called Puijila darwini, offering a look at the origins of the species. The Canadian Museum of Nature said the advance sheds new light on the early evolution of pinniped (the group that includes seals, sea lions and walruses).
